Climate change or as people call it the crisis of our time.
People all over the world talk about it, from world leaders to famous actors.
Most scientists say its 95% of human activity that causes the risk of damaging the ozone layer. climate change became a globe problem during the period of the industrial revolution in 1950 when the carbon dioxide level in the atmosphere rose and broke all the records. Unfortunately, the level has not decreased since.

When all these toxic gases from burning coal, oil, gas etc that is used to manufacture our everyday life supplies, are realised and gets to the air. as the sunlight and its radiation are shining through the atmosphere, some of the heat gets trapped and that causes the plant to get warmer which is called the greenhouse effect. The concern is that it is happening quickly as the human population tripled in the past 70 years.
According to the UN if the world hits 2.00 degrees by the end of the 21 century less we would be fine but again the major problem is the speed it's rising in. the are currently in 1 degree but on the track to reach 1.5 degrees in 2030 which is in only ten years. the warming pressure needs to reduce. Catastrophe can occur if the speed does not reduce as planned.
One of the big catastrophes that happened was the unfortunate forest fire that occurred in Lapland in 2018. During the summer after two hot dry months, the temperature rose above 30C, Sweden and the Arctic and most of Europe found themselves alarmingly eight wildfires. The fire stretched across the forest to the size of 900 football pitches and sent smoke billowing through the Lule valley. To manage the fire they called in reinforcements some days the number of volunteers and the team has added up to 130 members. from their community, army personnel, home guard members and volunteers and also refugees. They have hired helicopters, bulldozers and excavators.
How to reach our climate change goals.
One of the things that help reduce carbon dioxide is as simple as planting more trees according to the woodland trust organisation.

But there's are a lot of things we can do to help. This youtube video shows how the world needs to change so we could protect the ozone layer and prevent more damage to the atmosphere.
